ABOUT ME
ACCOUNTANT-TURNED-ENTREPRENEUR
In 1998 before the recession really kicked in, I was looking for a job and finding it difficult even as a Chartered Accountant with a first degree in Maths and an MBA! During that time I came across and was inspired by the Bible story of a widow who was in a financial crisis.  She went to the prophet Elisha and asked for help.  Rather than give her a handout, a bailout or a stimulus package he asked her: “What do you have in your house?”  She said that she only had a little oil so he told her what to do to turn it into a profitable business.  Using my “oil” which is my business knowledge together with my love for writing (I actually love that more than accounting) I wrote the book What Do You Have in Your House? Surviving in Times of Financial Crisis and it was published by Tate Publishing & Enterprises and released in the US on September 29, 2009.

That started me on a journey that I had dreamed about in the past – creating modules based on my book that can be done in a classroom setting or in a webinar and speaking about the principles in it to various audiences.

My second book The Promise Keeper has just been released and is available on Amazon.com. My desire is for my books to impact lives and the feedback I have received from my readers so far has been very encouraging – lives are being changed!
